We are delighted to invite you to the Asian Transplantation Week (ATW) 2017 to take place from October 18 (Wed) to 22 (Sun), 2017 at the Grand Hyatt Incheon, Incheon, Korea. This meeting is endorsed by the Transplantation Society and the Asian Transplantation Society. ATW 2017 will also propose pre and post Satellite Programs including Live Surgery, KODA Forum, and the 8th Deceased Donor Organ Transplant Workshop.
ATW was launched by the Korean Society of Transplantation (KST) in the hope that it would contribute to the advancement of clinical techniques, especially among young Asian professionals, and the spread of a culture befitting the spirit of the Declaration of Istanbul in the field of transplantation in the Asian region.
ATW 2017 will serve as a milestone for all Asian societies developing a young transplant program, contributing to making a firm basis for their initiatives. Highlight sessions will include those that deal with issues relevant to establishing a national system for organ transplant and strengthening education programs for transplant trainees in Asia. ATW 2017 will also offer an exceptional postgraduate program starting on Thursday afternoon with a Vitallink symposium in the morning. We are very excited to offer Travel Grants (USD 1,000) to selected international abstract presenters, and hope that you will consider submitting an abstract. Abstracts will be presented at plenary, concurrent and poster sessions. As you are aware, all accepted abstracts will be considered for publication in the Transplantation Proceedings.
We are confident that you will broaden your horizons, have the opportunity to network with your contemporaries from Asian transplant societies, and experience Korean culture at ATW 2017, and eagerly look forward to your participation.
Thank you for your interest and support.
